School, sports & camp physicals

Before your child attends school or camp, or participates in a sport, a pre-participation physical exam might be required. This exam aims to ensure your child care participate in the activity in question without endangering himself or others. It is also a good opportunity to address underlying concerns that could affect your child's health.

Novant Health Pediatrics South Ballantyne regularly completes school, camp and sports physicals for children of all ages. Sometimes these exams can be performed during the same visit as your child's annual checkup. If more testing is required or if a separate appointment is needed, you might be responsible for an additional charge.

Please bring with you any forms you have been given to have completed as we will not have access to those forms in our office.
